Privacy policy

Short version: this website has no analytics, no advertising trackers, no sign-up forms and no cookies of its own. We only get personal information when you buy a template or email us.
Who we are
Sheetsmith Studio is a small business based in Arizona, USA, selling spreadsheet templates through this site (checkout by Payhip) and Etsy. Contact: info@sheetsmithstudio.com.
What this site collects
Nothing directly. Our hosting provider, Netlify, automatically processes standard technical data (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) to deliver the site and keep it secure. We don't use it to track or profile you.
Purchases
When you buy, you check out on Payhip (or Etsy), which collects the information needed to process your order, such as your name, email and payment details, under its own privacy policy. We receive your name, email and order details so we can deliver your files and provide support. We don't sell or share them for marketing. We use order details to deliver files, give support, handle refunds and keep the business and tax records the law requires. We never receive your full card or bank details; payments are handled by Stripe, PayPal or Etsy.
If you email us, we use your message only to reply. We won't add you to a mailing list without your permission.
Your template data
Anything you type into a template stays in your own Google Drive or on your computer. We can't see it.
Links
This site links to Payhip, Etsy, Pinterest and Google. Those sites have their own privacy practices.
Who we share it with
Only service providers that help us run the business: Payhip and Etsy (sales and delivery), Stripe and PayPal (payments), Netlify (hosting) and our email provider. We may also disclose information if the law requires it. We don't sell or "share" personal information (as California law defines those terms), and we don't use it for targeted advertising.
How long we keep it
Order records: as long as tax and accounting rules require (typically up to 7 years). Support emails: up to 3 years after our last contact.
Children
This site isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Your choices
Depending on where you live (for example California, other US states with privacy laws, the UK or the EU), you may have the right to know what we hold, get a copy, correct it, delete it or object to some uses. Email info@sheetsmithstudio.com and we'll respond within the time the law requires (usually 30–45 days). We won't treat you differently for using these rights. Purchases on Etsy or Payhip are also covered by their own privacy policies.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top.
